The Slovak Blind and Partially Sighted Union (UNSS) is a civic association whose mission is to defend the rights and to activate people with visual impairments. The organisation operates throughout the country - it gathers almost 3000 blind and visually impaired people and their supporters, and provides services to more than 2000 clients annually. We have 8 regional centres (in each region) which provide social counselling and social rehabilitation to all BPS people free of charge.
