Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) aims to reduce the damage caused by natural hazards through proactive strategies. This includes ensuring that all communities, especially vulnerable populations like blind and partially sighted individuals, are adequately prepared. Climate Action refers to the efforts made to mitigate or adapt to the effects of climate change.

We work closely with governments and organizations to ensure that the needs of people with visual impairments are considered in these crucial areas. From building accessible infrastructure to providing education on disaster response, our mission is to empower our community to survive and thrive in any situation.

WBU is dedicated to advocating for inclusive climate policies and disaster preparedness plans.
