He has extensive knowledge of the disability non-profit sector, having held management positions in the areas of advocacy, public affairs, and program delivery with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Additionally, Marc is an experienced public servant who served in various management level roles within the Government of Alberta.

Marc has actively volunteered in the Canadian disability movement for 15 years, serving on numerous local and national boards. He resides in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where in 2020 he was named one of the city’s Top 40 Under 40 for his many contributions to the community.

She works closely with the CEO, supporting WBU Officers and the Executive Committee. Ianina is the main contact for members and the Membership Committee, overseeing Secretariat operations and collaborating with Finance, HR, donors, and partners. With over 25 years in the not-for-profit sector, she also has private sector experience. Ianina holds a B.A. in Translation from Ricardo Palma University and a Diploma in Business Administration.

Raised by blind parents, her personal experience drives her passion for advocacy. At WBU, she supports the mission to promote the rights of blind and partially sighted individuals through committee work, event organization, and advancing organizational excellence. Her background in education enhances her communication and leadership in advocating for inclusivity.

He offers extensive experience in refining communications strategies and managing digital content for both governmental and non-profit organizations. His diverse background includes significant work in the disability, non-profits, and communications sectors. Adam’s expertise spans multiple fields, bringing a well-rounded perspective to his role.
