The World Blind Union (WBU) is participating in the Sixty-Eighth Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 7–15 July 2026.
Representing WBU, President Santosh Kumar Rungta will participate in the event.
The Marrakesh Treaty continues to play a vital role in improving access to published works for people who are blind, partially sighted, or otherwise print disabled. WBU remains committed to working with governments, international organizations, publishers, libraries, and disability organizations to support the effective implementation and expansion of the Treaty worldwide.
