The Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (COSP) was established in 2008 pursuant to Article 40 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Since its creation, eighteen sessions have been held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The 19th Session of COSP (COSP19) will take place from 9–11 June 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. As the global disability community marks the 20th anniversary of the CRPD, COSP19 provides an important opportunity to move commitments into action.
